Downtown Dunedin, Florida turned into a tail-wagging celebration on September 20th. And PupGrade was proud to be right in the heart of it, supporting the 5th Annual Walk for Whiskers.
Hosted by the Humane Society of Pinellas, this beloved event brought together families, dog lovers, local businesses, and animal advocates to raise funds for pets in need.

From adoptable pets and dog-friendly activities to costume contests and community connections, the day was full of energy, generosity, and paw-sitive impact.
What is Walk for Whiskers?
Walk for Whiskers is more than a charity walk. It’s a celebration of community, compassion, and second chances.
This free, family-friendly event brings together local businesses, animal lovers, and adoptable pets for an afternoon of fun and fundraising at John R. Lawrence Pioneer Park. From a doggie costume contest to vendor giveaways and live entertainment, there’s something for every two- and four-legged guest to enjoy.
And what’s even better? 100% of the proceeds go directly to the Humane Society’s mission: preventing animal homelessness and providing care to pets in need. This year’s walk raised over $32,000—a huge win for local animals and a powerful show of support from the community.
In the Park with the PupGrade Pack
Walk for Whiskers was all about doing what matters most: bringing joy to dogs and their families while standing together for a great cause.
The park was full of smiling faces and wagging tails, with PupGrade bandanas spotted on pups making their rounds from booth to booth. Longtime PupGrade fans stopped by to say hello, and plenty of new dog parents got their first taste of our wellness products (along with a Pup Cup or two for their four-legged sidekicks).
From the buzzing crowd to the creative (and adorable) dog costumes, the day was brimming with energy and heart. Even better, the event made it possible to connect with other local businesses and vendors, strengthening the ties that make this community so special.
Whether it was a conversation, a giveaway, or a tail wag, every moment reminded us of the impact we can make together.
Why It All Matters
Walk for Whiskers showed just how powerful it is when people come together—not only to celebrate their pets, but to stand up for animals who still need a chance at a loving home.
For PupGrade, supporting events like this is about more than giveaways or Pup Cups. It’s about building connections, sharing moments, and being part of a community that cares deeply for dogs and the families who love them.
